// Study Break

Tuesday, February 18, 2014

Oh well hi there! Can we just take a second and talk about how many posts I have coming up/in the process of planning/taking over my to-do list? All I have wanted to do as of lately is blog. This week school got in the way though, and I had a monster exam today. I am not lying when I say I literally didn't sleep last night. No sleep since Sunday! I can't wait until my head hits the pillow tonight! It will be an early day tomorrow with clinical, but I love my clinical rotation right now so I really look forward to it! In the spirit of studying and being a college student, today my outfit reflects what I would be in if I didn't have much going on, or if I had to study, but still needed to look like I had a semi-idea of what an outfit besides yogas and zip ups look like. Do many college students read this? I would love if you let me know, or sent me your blog links too so I can see what other blogging students are up to! Also, lets get excited that weather in Cincinnati was in the upper 50's today, and by Thursday it will be almost 70-what?! Then it is supposed to get cooler again. If you follow me on instagram (which you totally should!), then you would have seen the picture of my beloved Keds, just waiting for warmer weather. Can't. Wait.

**If you could vote for me in the American Eagle "Live Your Life" contest, I would be so grateful, every vote can make a difference in me advancing in the competition! The link to where you can vote is here; once you get there, log in with facebook  and then click the hearts under my pictures; you can vote for more than once!  If you do it, I would forever be thankful! Also, apparently you get a 20% off (and free shipping) coupon sent to your email! <3

Love the blue detailing around the zippers!
Outfit details: Chambray: American Eagle // T shirt: Kohls // Leggings: Gap // Boots: Madden Girl by Steve Madden // Scarf: Handmade by my brother! If interested in one, email me!

Check out my link-ups list in my side bar! Also linking up with twothirtyfivedesigns

What are your favorite posts to see from my blog? Beauty (reviews, tutorials?), fashion, or would you like to hear more about my day-to-day life?

Thanks for reading!
XO, Kelsey

  1. I know that feeling of just having a ton of inspiration for the blog...and then life gets in the way!!

    We're going to have a bit of a warm (well, warm as far as this winter is concerned) spell later this week as well and I can't wait to wear some cuter shoes!

    1. It's just such a bummer sometimes! Since this is just a hobby for me, I know I have to do the things first that are "important" to my future like studying and getting projects done! The whole time I am doing those things though, I think about how I should reaaaaally do a post on here because it has been awhile. It's a struggle haha. I can't wait for tomorrow, its going to be so warm compared to the ten and 20 degree days we have been having recently!

    1. He was so sweet for making it! Actually, my uncle was studying for his real estate license a few years ago, so I can imagine how busy you have been. Sometimes yoga pants are just the way to go! Thanks for the well wishes, I wish you luck with getting your license-I know the test is pretty crazy!

    1. Super casual! I almost don't know if I should post looks like this because it may not be interesting or much to look at for some people-but I am just a pretty casual person so I guess that is okay! I have no fancy events to go to, or any boyfriends to dress up for a date night with! :) Thanks for the luck!

  9. Love the boots! And your hair is so pretty. :) Although I do think you're nuts for being outside in the snow without a jacket!

    And better to have too many blog ideas than too few.

    1. Thank you so much! I never really wear my hair up in it seems when I do a blog post, so this is sort of a first, haha. You know what is weird-I don't really get cold doing these pictures outside! I get them done relatively quickly, and as long as it isn't windy, the cold doesn't bother me too much! Thanks for stopping by! :)
