Mint Peplum & Sunshine

Hey! I am back with another outfit post! My last post featured some snow, which has since melted away...but it is still FREEZING! The day I took these it was almost 50 degrees, but it's back down to the 20's. Ohio weather, why must you fluctuate so much? Besides the weather, I was really excited about this outfit! Really simple, but I love the peplum trend! This is actually the only peplum item I own, because I wanted to see how it would look on me before I went peplum crazy...and I think I like it! Now how many times can I say "peplum" in one paragraph? Moving on...
I love the mint color-it is so fresh, and clean feeling? Do you kind of understand what I mean? It's okay if you don't! Plus, I love the pastel color-I get that it's winter...but you don't have to wear dark colors, or greys, or follow the "bright colors are only for summer/pastels are strictly for spring". I am sure I am not the only one that ditches those "rules". This is Beauty without Limits...including fashion limits. Sorry fashion patrol :) Now on to the outfit!
Jeans: Urban Outfitters BDG Cigarette Mid-Rise Jean / Boots: Macy's (Baretraps) / Top: JcPenney (similar) / Belt: Forever 21 (similar)
I might like smiling. Maybe. Just maybe.

Can you believe the ground was covered in snow not too long ago? Not complaining though, the scenery looks gorgeous!

Do you like the peplum trend? What are your thoughts on "fashion rules" for seasons?
Let me know! Thanks for stopping by!

Sunday Social-In 3's!

1. Top 3 favorite kinds of food

My favorites are pasta, chocolate, and [fruits & vegetables]. Did you like how I grouped those as one? haha Sneaky sneaky:)

2. First 3 things you do in the morning
I usually set a few alarms on my phone the night before, between 3 and 5; it depends how early my classes are that day! So I usually go through the first two, get up by the third, and then turn off the rest. Next I would get up and make some coffee, and third I will read up on some blogs, and watch a youtube video or two!

3. Last 3 things you do at night
Take out my contacts/ put on my glasses, wash my face, and say a prayer!

4. 3 TV shows you NEVER miss
Sometimes I get too busy studying, so I do miss shows sometimes-hard to answer! I always make sure to stay up to date on the American Horror Story episodes, Cat Fish, and maybe Teen Mom?

5. 3 places you want to visit
Germany, Paris, and California!

6. 3 people you can always count on
My step mom, my grandparents (counting them as one again, haha), and my brother Caleb!

What I Wore!

Hey there! Here is a quick post on one of the outfits I wore recently! I mentioned awhile back that I had done sometime to my hair- surprise! It's bangs. I do have to say though, I didn't style my hair at all, I hate putting heat on my hair! So excuse it looking a little crazy in some pictures! I included links for the pieces of the outfit, so just hover over the text below pictures! This is what I wore:

Jeans: American Eagle (similar).

 Boots: Macy's (Brand: Baretraps)
Scarf and Top: Old Navy//Tank Top: Buckle
 Awkward Pose: Courtesy of Muah!

I hope this post gave someone out there some ideas for an outfit :)
It was definitely cold when I took these, so I hope I don't look too uncomfortable haha.
Thanks for reading!

College Books I Despise Buying You!!

I really do despise buying them. Just this semester I spent hundreds on my books; one class alone required SEVEN books. Are you kidding me?! College is so expensive already, with tuition, apartment/living situations, a parking pass, groceries...the list goes on and on! To make the list worse, you add books as a factor and you are out another couple hundred! Sure, you have loans to help pay for all these things, but you still have to pay off the loans, or if it is out of pocket, it just stings every time you have to buy a book. Not to mention, most of my books I never use-they say you'll need them and then all the information you learn comes from powerpoints and in class lecture...so what I am saying is: I spend way too much on books. A lot of books my first year of college were bought. Not smart on my end. This past year I have been renting a majority of my books, as those are the ones I feel I will not need after the class is over. BIG MONEY SAVER!
I want to let you in on a little secret. It goes a little something like this: rent your books when you have the option! Seriously, I am so happy I started renting some of mine! If you go to www.campusbookrentals.com/ you will find that you can save up to 80% off your textbooks! That is amazing when it comes to getting the books those professors "require". Want a demonstration on the price difference when it comes to buying versus renting?
This is a screen shot of one of my required books. Do I want to pay that? NO! If you look on campus book rentals site, you'll see this:
Guess which one I think is the better deal? Even with the "discount" my university says their bookstores get, it is still outrageous! I would much rather rent this, and return it! Not to mention campus book rentals offers free shipping to you-and free shipping when you return it! Not the book you needed? They have a 30-day return policy. Lastly, another perk is that you can highlight notes in the book as if you are the owner! I love that!
One more very important point I would like to add about this site is that they are striving to make a difference. They have remained partnered with Operation Smile and in this year alone are donating over 1,000 life saving cleft lip surgeries to children in need. I think this is amazing! Not only are they helping students, but they are making a difference and helping others; really a great quality! If you ever need a textbook, I would highly recommend taking a look at Campus Book Rentals before buying one!

P.S-Are your books (or were your books) such a pain to buy? Let me know if you enjoyed this post, or if it was helpful :)

Sunday Social!

1. What is the name of your blog? How long have you been blogging?
My blog name is "Beauty without Limits", and there is a bittttt of an explanation behind the name. I actually plan on adding a page to my blog just for explaining my blog name! I started blogging in March of 2012, so I would say I am definitely still new at this, but I love each and every day of it! More importantly, I love reading other blogs. Seriously unreal how waking up and catching up on blogs has become such a big part of my day!
2. Why do you blog?
I started a blog because I was inspired by someone! I remember staying up VERY late one night reading a "blog" that I had somehow come across ( I don't even remember how!) and I was just fascinated by the blogging community (that I could see) and that you could really write about anything. So, I read basically every post this person had written, and decided I would start my own blog. I like to tell others about things I love, or enjoy, such as beauty products, but I also love showing outfits-it is almost like a photo diary to remember a cute outfit, so that I can go back to it and put the same outfit back together! Am I making any sense? Haha. I love just being able to write freely, and somehow, I manage to get some amazing followers that will actually read the weird/boring/random thoughts that pop into my head!
3. What is the first blog you ever followed?
Remember how someone inspired me? Well, I had to follow her blog as soon as I started mine! Who is this lady you ask? It is Monica! From Monica's Notebook! I seriously like died when she followed my blog. That is a big accomplishment for me, haha.
4. What is your favorite post you wrote in 2012?
I am not sure I have a favorite. I would almost say anything beauty related. Surprised? Let me explain-this blog started out as a beauty blog, but once I got started I realized I was NOT happy with my camera. Sure, the pictures turned out fine, quality wise, but the color is always just so...off. That isn't good when you are trying to show almost exact colors and review products! This means that my beauty posts have been limited until I get a better camera, or figure out what camera settings will work for beauty posts! Top faves: DIY Oil Blotting Sheets, Go-To Products for Oily Skin, and Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation Review.

5. What are your blogging goals for 2013?
I definitely want to post more. Being in nursing school and trying to post regularly is pretty hard for me though-I feel so overwhelmed sometimes! I am not going to make myself have a set schedule, but I do want to try to post more...plus, posting usually makes me feel less stressed, because I am focusing on something I want to do, versus all that nursing studying! I also would like to see my blog grow more-it doesn't have to be a major growth, but I love seeing new people commenting! It is so exciting, and when the follower has a blog their self, it allows me to have a new blog to read up on too!
6. Name your top 3 favorite blogs.
Katie Did What, Monica's Notebook, and The Sweetest Thing. I love all 3 of those blogs, you should check them out, you wont regret it!

That is it for this Sunday Social, I hope you enjoyed!

I almost feel like I have already posted it, but I can't find it! So I must not have, but I hope you enjoy it even if it isn't exactly new! No worries though, I have a few recent ones to post! You will see in my new ones I did something with my hair...hmm!?
